Overview
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager with a strong consulting background to lead and deliver technology infrastructure initiatives for our clients. This role is responsible for managing complex infrastructure projects end‑to‑end, ensuring successful planning, execution, communication, and delivery in fast‑paced environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage infrastructure projects including data center upgrades, network refreshes, cloud migrations, server/storage deployments, and end‑user technology initiatives.
- Work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to define scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Develop project plans, status reports, RAID logs, and communication plans tailored for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Drive meetings, workshops, and progress reviews with cross‑functional teams.
- Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships.
- Identify risks and issues proactively; develop mitigation and contingency plans.
- Ensure all project documentation, governance requirements, and standards are met.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance, structure, and best practices for infrastructure delivery.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience as a Project Manager delivering technology infrastructure projects.
- Prior consulting or client‑facing experience with the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong understanding of core IT infrastructure domains (e.g., networking, servers, storage, cloud, security, data centers).
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in dynamic environments.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid).
- Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership skills.
- Experience working with third‑party vendors and managed service providers.
- PMP, ITIL, or related certifications are a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting cloud migration or modernization projects (Azure, AWS, or similar).
- Ability to translate technical requirements into business‑focused outcomes.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
