Description
We are hiring a Full Time Direct Support Professional in our Jefferson County Day Program located in Barnhart, MO.
DSP's provide supports to adults with autism and/or developmental or intellectual disabilities so that they can become as independent as possible both at home, work and in the community.
In this role, Direct Support Professionals will:
- Provide individualized support to individuals/groups.
- Help people reach for their dreams and accomplish their goals.
- Take daily data and write daily log notes documenting goals and objectives
- Maintain professional relationships with individuals, families, community members, and other staff.
- Be a part of a dynamic and supportive team in a growing organization full of opportunities.
- Support each person on an individualized basis and help them live their best life!
Pay is $19.50 per hour.

Requirements
We are looking for Direct Support Professionals who:
- Can work both independently and in a team setting.
- Like to show up for work every day with a positive attitude and ready to tackle the day’s adventure.
- Are at least 18 years of age or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Are dependable, have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Are willing to work evenings and weekends.
We do complete background screenings with the Missouri Family Care Safety Registry.
