The Jude Jawhar Foundation is a nonprofit dedicated to honoring the legacy of Jude Jawhar, a courageous young woman who faced osteosarcoma with incredible strength and resilience, by supporting pediatric oncology research at Johns Hopkins and funding a nursing scholarship at Towson University.
After five years of hosting the Run for Jude 5K, our mission continues to grow and so does our need for strong digital storytelling.
We are looking for a mission-driven Social Media Intern to support our work from January to April, 2026. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about nonprofit impact and wants hands-on experience in social media strategy, content creation, and marketing.
What You Will Do:
- Help plan, create, and schedule content across our social media platforms
- Design graphics and visual assets for campaigns, announcements, and events
- Assist with promoting the Run for Jude 5K and other Foundation initiatives
- Support overall digital engagement and help expand our online presence
- Collaborate with board members on new ideas to elevate our mission and reach
What We Are Looking For:
- Someone who cares about community impact and believes in our mission
- Experience with social media content creation and platform management
- Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe, or similar)
- Interest in marketing, digital media, or nonprofit communications
- A self-starter who can work independently and meet deadlines
Internship Details:
- Unpaid, part-time position from January to April
