What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper position at Jubilee House Senior Living?
Jubilee House on Warfield is in need of a community housekeeper with a keen attention to detail.
Primary responsibilities :
- Ability to safely and correctly use cleaning chemicals for intended purposes.
- Able to use light housekeeping equipment such as a vacuum, housekeeping cart, mop, dust mop, etc.
- Be able to comply with OSHA standards in the workplace in regards to handling / storing of chemicals.
- Familiar with Safety Data Sheets- how to read and interpret them properly.
- Able to stand, and walk up to 8 hours a day. Frequently support up to 70 lbs and be able to lift / carry up to 50 lbs.
- Be kind, pleasant flexible, and able to work with the geriatric population.
- Experience in housekeeping in a long-term care or assisted living environment is a plus.
- Be an effective team player and smile often.
