Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor laundry machines including industrial dryers, garment care machines, and washing units to ensure efficient performance.
• Assist customers with laundry services, providing friendly guidance on machine use, detergent options, and garment care.
• Handle laundry materials safely, including detergents and cleaning agents, following proper sanitation and safety protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness of the facility by performing routine cleaning tasks and ensuring sanitation standards are met throughout the day.
• Use push carts and manual handling techniques to transport laundry loads safely within the premises, including heavy lifting when necessary.
• Conduct regular safety checks on equipment and enforce safety protocol adherence to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Manage inventory of laundry supplies and detergents, restocking as needed to ensure uninterrupted service.

Requirements

• Previous experience in cleaning, laundry services, or textile cleaning is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and the use of push carts.
• Basic math skills for managing laundry loads and processing transactions or payments if applicable.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety procedures in a production environment.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and clear communication abilities.
• Familiarity with garment care machines such as industrial dryers and washing units is a plus but not mandatory; training will be available.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks efficiently, and work effectively in a fast-paced setting.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
