Job Description: The Specialist I, Extractions plays a critical role in supporting compliant and efficient manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for executing core production tasks, responding to BAS alarms, managing documentation, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The Specialist I also contributes to team leadership, training, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure operational excellence and regulatory compliance. Respond to BAS (Building Automation System) alarms and escalate as needed. Serve in a leadership capacity within the Cleanroom Work (CW) environment. Create, manage, and close maintenance work orders. Support and lead small-scale projects and process improvements. Revise and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Issue and manage controlled documentation. Perform SAP transactions, including advanced functions. Assist with scheduling and resource allocation for production activities. Navigate interpersonal dynamics and resolve minor team conflicts. Collaborate with Master Control for document lifecycle management. Act as a certified "Train the Trainer" resource for onboarding and skill development. Complete TrackWise ITLT (Initial Triage and Level Triage) tasks. Troubleshoot minor equipment and process issues. Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Risk Assessments. Lead or support TrackWise investigation tasks. Maintain compliance with gowning, hygiene, and aseptic techniques. Operate and maintain specialized equipment (e.g., manometers, scales). Perform decasing and extraction processes per SOPs. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all production activities. Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent required Train the Trainer preferred Prior leadership or training experience required 1-3 years in a regulated manufacturing environment pharmaceutical or biotech preferred SAP, TrackWise, and Master Control systems desired Working Knowledge in Mechanical Aptitude required 14/14 Corrected Near-Point required Respirator Clearance Required Ability to lift 50 lbs above shoulders unassisted required Exposure to Allergens required Repetitive Activity and prolonged sitting and standing Pushing/Pulling and Twisting required Shift: Weekday, Days Monday-Friday Compensation & Benefits: This is an on-site, full-time position located in Spokane, WA. Hiring Wage: $29.52-$40.60hr. Depending on experience, with opportunity for growth, promotion and annual raises. Midpoint and above is reserved for employees who have longevity with Jubilant HollisterStier and consistently exhibit outstanding performance over a period of time in the role This position is eligible for a shift premium of $2.00 per hour worked between 3pm and 11pm, and $2.50 per hour worked between 11pm and 7:30am. This position is eligible for an aseptic premium of $2.00 per hour worked in qualifying aseptic areas.
