Job Description

:The main function of the Area Specialist is to coordinate personnel to achieve the desired production schedule. This person will work closely with peer training specialists to ensure compliance with cGMPs prior to assigning personnel to areas. The CMO Area Specialist is the line SME and will have in depth knowledge of area SOPs to help guide personnel throughout the production day. They are also expected to analyze present and proposed manufacturing processes and technologies to determine improvements to processes, equipment, and automation to optimize manufacturing processes, meet present and new regulations, reduce waste, increase capacity, and develop and implement methods to increase output while complying with cGMP's

1. .CMO Area Specialist
2. IProvide effective day-to-day leadership and oversight for small groups ranging in size from 5 to 25 team member
3. sSchedule team members proficiently to achieve target turnaround times and meet production schedule target
4. sArea SME for SOP updates and proposed equipment/process change
5. sPartner with training peers to drive training of team member
6. sSpend 50% of their production day in the manufacturing areas driving the teams and building rappor
7. tCoordinate required activities with other departments to ensure completion of production schedule
8. sParticipate in RCAs, CAPAs, Change Controls, and other process improvement

sQualifications

• :High School Diploma or Equivalent require
• dAssociate or Bachelor degree desire
• dLean principle certifications (6 Sigma or otherwise) desire
• dOSHA 10 certification desire
• d2 years manufacturing experience require
• dLeadership experience desire
• dPharmaceutical manufacturing experience desire
• dWorking knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint require
• dSAP experience require
• dTrackwise and MasterControl experience require
• dRespirator Clearance Require

dShift: Weekend Days, Friday-Sunday E/O Thursday 6am-6p

• :Area Specialist I: 38/hr. depending on experience, with opportunity for growth, promotion and annual raises. Midpoint and above is reserved for employees who have longevity with Jubilant HollisterStier and consistently exhibit outstanding performance over a period of time in the rol
