Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a welcoming attitude.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders
- Ensuring clear communication with the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety.
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and maximize sales opportunities.
- Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and provide exceptional customer service to foster guest satisfaction.
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems, including cash handling and basic math calculations.
- Assist with food prep, bussing tables, setting up dining areas, and maintaining cleanliness in compliance with sanitation standards.
Experience
- Previous restaurant experience or food service background is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours.
- Experience in serving or host/hostess roles that demonstrate guest relations skills.
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales while providing genuine recommendations.
- Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling responsibilities.
