Job Summary:
The Sales Analyst Business Manager-West Region plays a key role in supporting and optimizing sales execution for the West Region. This remote position requires candidates to reside in the West time zone to effectively support the territory and its customer base. The role is responsible for driving operational excellence, reporting, forecasting, business analysis, and process improvements to enable the sales team’s success.
Reporting to the VP of Sales – West, the Analyst Business Manager partners closely with West Regional Sales account managers, supply chain, finance, and customer service to ensure alignment on business priorities, customer requirements, and sales targets.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key liaison between the VP of Sales-West, and regional account teams, ensuring execution of sales strategy.
- Drive sales process improvements to enhance forecasting accuracy, pipeline visibility, and reporting consistency.
- Manage reporting and analytics for West Region sales performance, identifying trends and opportunities for growth.
- Partner with Finance and at times lead accurate trade spend tracking, budget alignment, and ROI measurement.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain to optimize product availability, order accuracy, and customer fulfillment.
- Support development and implementation of standardized sales tools, dashboards, and KPIs for the West Region.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on pricing, contracts, and promotional execution.
- Assist in onboarding, training, and development of new sales team members.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and sales governance standards.
- Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives impacting the West Region sales function.
- Promote company values of integrity, ownership, collaboration, and respect in all interactions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field required; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales business plan management, sales support, or related function; CPG industry strongly preferred.
- Experience managing or supporting sales plans at major grocery retailers or large regional accounts a plus.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to interpret data, identify insights, and make recommendations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across sales, finance, and supply chain functions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to influence without direct authority.
Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
