The Clerk of the Court and Comptroller (COCC) is seeking a Courts Accountant 4 to perform highly advanced professional accounting and supervisory work in the application of accounting principles and methods in the preparation, maintenance, analysis, and control of financial records.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Three years of progressively responsible experience in the preparation of financial reports and audited financial statements to include two years at the supervisory level and one year in data processing are required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise daily accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data to create financial reports.
- Manage workload and deadlines for the accounting team.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Implement and improve internal controls and accounting procedures.
- Supervise, mentor, and train team members.
- Assist in recruiting and hiring new team members.
- Provide ad-hoc financial reports and analysis as requested by executives or other departments.

Salary : $77,478 - $135,394
