Accountabilities:
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (such as flatbed trucks, box trucks, or other CDL-required vehicles) to transport materials and goods to designated locations
- Load, unload, and organize materials in the warehouse, ensuring that items are stored properly and safely
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure safety and proper functioning of all equipment
- Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols while driving and during warehouse operations
- Maintain accurate records, including logs, delivery schedules and inventory reports
- Assist with inventory management, ensuring all materials are properly tracked and stored in the warehouse
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet delivery deadlines and project requirements
- Assist with the preparation and organization of materials for shipment or delivery
- Ensure all materials are securely loaded and unloaded, using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks when necessary
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Commerical Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a material handler and/or delivery driver, preferably in a warehouse or logistics setting
- Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements
- Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs or more)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Effective communication skills and attention to detail
