What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Laborer: Commercial Construction position at JTResources Inc.?
We are seeking responsible, motivated, hardworking and reliable individuals to join our team! JT Resources, is a non-union general labor company specializing in construction.
JOB DETAILS
- Weekly pay
- Hourly: $19.25 an hour
- Monday - Friday position - Saturday work as needed.
- Jobsite Locations: Visalia, CA.
- Jobsite locations are never guaranteed. We go to where the work dictates. You may be transferred between jobs at any time for any reason.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have at least 1 year experience in general labor/ construction
- Have jeans, plain t-shirts, and work boots (PPE provided if hired by JT Resources)
- Must have reliable transportation to get to and from the jobsites
- Have the ability to perform physical activities requiring considerable use of hands, arms, legs, and whole body for climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, and handling of materials
- Have the ability to stand, sit, walk, crawl, kneel, work in small spaces, and carry materials up to 25-50 lbs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cleaning and preparing construction sites, cleaning up trash, debris or other waste materials
- Use of a commerical floor scrubber (may require a valid drivers license)
- Load, unload, identify building materials, machinery, work tools, distributing them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans or specifications (moving materials)
- Put up and take down temporary fencing and lighting
- Digging trenches / Assistance to other trade workers
- Traffic control / Dust control
- Operate the man lift*
*Other tasks as assigned
