About the Role
JTR Insurance is an independent agency focused on long-term client relationships and doing coverage the right way. We’re hiring a licensed Personal Lines CSR to handle service work and support new business quoting for personal lines accounts.
What You’ll Do
- Service existing personal lines accounts: endorsements, policy changes, mortgagee updates, ID cards, evidence of insurance, billing questions, cancellations/reinstatements
- Support renewals: gather updates, remarket when needed, present options, bind, and document
- Assist with quoting new business (Auto/Home/Renters/Condo/Dwelling Fire/Umbrella and related personal lines)
- Communicate with clients and carriers by phone/email with strong follow-through
- Maintain accurate documentation and activity notes in our agency management system (Applied Epic preferred)
- Follow our structured intake process for quotes (Auto & Home questionnaires)
Requirements (Must-Haves)
- Active California Property & Casualty insurance license
- 1 year of Personal Lines CSR/account service experience (agency preferred)
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and task ownership
- Confident written communication (clients carriers)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
Preferred (Nice-to-Haves)
- Applied Epic experience
- Experience with CA personal lines markets and remarketing workflows
- Strong coverage knowledge, and clean file habits
