Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of designated areas to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security threats.
- Monitor CCTV surveillance systems continuously to observe activity and detect suspicious behavior or incidents.
- Respond promptly and effectively to security alarms, incidents, or emergencies, including medical situations requiring first aid or CPR.
- Manage access control by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors entering the premises.
- Enforce security policies and procedures with professionalism, including conflict management when necessary.
- Document all security activities, incidents, and observations accurately in shift reports and logs.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during incidents requiring law enforcement or emergency intervention.
Skills
- Proven experience in security roles or law enforcement with a strong understanding of security protocols.
- Certification in first aid and CPR to provide immediate assistance during medical emergencies.
- Knowledge of surveillance technology such as CCTV systems for effective monitoring.
- Ability to handle conflict situations calmly and professionally using conflict management skills.
- Familiarity with loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or property damage.
- Background in military or law enforcement enhances situational awareness and response capabilities.
