Janitor/Maintenance Worker
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor/Maintenance Worker to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming facility. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, follows cleaning procedures, and can work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine facilities maintenance and custodial duties.
- Sweep and vacuum floors, carpets, and common areas.
- Mop floors and clean spills promptly.
- Dust furniture, fixtures, surfaces, and equipment.
- Empty and properly dispose of trash from receptacles.
- Clean windows and glass surfaces.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and report when restocking is needed.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
- Report maintenance concerns, damages, or safety hazards to management.
Qualifications
- Previous janitorial, custodial, or facilities maintenance experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks on schedule.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical cleaning duties throughout the shift.
