JTL Collision Inc is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition while meeting manufacturer and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect vehicles and assess collision damage
Repair or replace damaged body panels, frames, and structural components
Perform dent repair, panel alignment, sanding, and surface preparation
Weld, bolt, and rivet replacement parts as needed
Operate frame-straightening and alignment equipment
Apply fillers and prepare surfaces for painting
Ensure repairs meet quality, manufacturer, and safety standards
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Follow company policies and OSHA safety guidelines
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
2–5 years of experience as an Auto Body Technician
Strong knowledge of auto body repair tools and techniques
Ability to read repair estimates and work orders
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
ASE or I-CAR certification
Experience with aluminum, fiberglass, and advanced vehicle materials
Welding and frame repair experience
