The Role
The ideal candidate is a QuickBooks expert who understands the construction industry. You won’t just be filing papers; you will be managing the financial flow of our projects, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring our team is paid accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Management: Perform full-charge bookkeeping duties using QuickBooks or other billing applications, including accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations.
- Payroll Processing: Manage weekly/bi-weekly payroll for field and office staff, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
- Project Billing: Prepare and submit progress billings, AIA documents, and invoices to clients.
- Documentation: Track insurance certificates, lien waivers, and subcontractor agreements.
- Office Operations: Manage office supplies, correspondence, and provide general administrative support to the project management team.
Required Qualifications
- QuickBooks Mastery: 3–5 years of hands-on experience (Online or Desktop versions).
- Industry Experience: Previous experience in construction, trades, or architecture is highly preferred.
- Payroll & Billing: Knowledge managing payroll and complex billing cycles.
- Tech: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) and cloud-based management tools.
- Detail-Oriented: A "sharp eye" for catching discrepancies in invoices or time-tracking.
