1 REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
Reports to the Quality Manager.
2 PURPOSE
2.1. Function
2.1.1. The function of the production facilitator is to motivate the work force to meet production and quality requirements while maintaining a safe work environment.
2.2. Authority
2.2.1. To monitor and enforce policies and procedures that governs the quality department.
2.2.2. To assign, direct, discipline associates as necessary to accomplish assigned tasks.
3 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
3.1. Inspire teamwork among employees.
3.2. Ability to solve quality problems.
3.3. Create a participative management environment.
3.4. Meet quality work schedules.
3.5. Meet quality standards.
3.6. Develop work schedules for associates.
3.7. Develop and maintain work efficiency.
3.8. Develop standard work and monitor for effectiveness.
3.9. Work with Quality Engineers for containment defect countermeasures and containment elimination
3.10. Maintain a safe work environment for self and employees.
3.11. Train/cross-train new/existing associates.
3.12. Develop and manage training documents.
3.13. Monitor and maintain WH53/MRB activities.
3.14. Push for continuous improvements.
3.15. Other duties as assigned.

5 SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITY
This position supervises the Containment Associates, Quality Auditors, Quality Associates, and Quality Team Leaders. This position provides training, guidance, and disciplinary action to the Containment Associates, Quality Auditors, Quality Associates, and Quality Team Leaders.
Requirements
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a professional environment, as well as a manufacturing environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. This role also is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
7 QUALIFICATIONS
7.1. Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in team concept.
7.2. Previous experience with Quality Systems, TS16949.
7.3. Proven track record of motivating employees.
7.4. Previous experience in cellular/lean manufacturing.
7.5. Understanding of modern quality control methods.
7.6. Ability to train all levels of employees.
7.7. Track record of meeting quality work schedules.
7.8. Must be safety conscious.
7.9. Computer literate.
7.10. Self-motivating
7.11. Good communication skills, both oral and written.
7.12. Team player.
7.13. Willing to travel
8 PHYSICAL DEMANDS
8.1 Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
8.2 Must be able to lift 20 pounds at times.
8.3 Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
9 POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This position regularly requires extended hours and possible weekend work.
10 TRAVEL
Local travel to various worksites is required.
