Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machinery, ensuring precision and quality in the production of components. This role requires a strong understanding of CNC programming, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints. The CNC Operator will work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the overall efficiency and quality of our manufacturing processes.
Duties
- Operate CNC milling machines, lathes, and other machining equipment to produce high-quality parts.
- Program and set up CNC machines using Fanuc controls and CAM programming software.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure parts meet quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any operational issues.
- Collaborate with team members on the assembly line for efficient production flow.
- Conduct quality control checks throughout the manufacturing process to maintain product standards.
- Handle materials safely, including packaging and fabrication tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience in a manufacturing facility with hands-on CNC operation is preferred.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLC) and various machining processes including welding, stamping press operations, and press brake machine usage is advantageous.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks is a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools and basic math skills for measurements.
- Previous factory or warehouse experience is beneficial, particularly in materials handling and tooling applications.
