About the Role

The Welder I position is responsible for welding metal components using hand‑welding equipment and ensuring weld quality meets specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
• Inspect and verify parts for accuracy
• Maintain consistent, high-quality welds
• Meet hourly and job‑based weld output goals
• Use common welding hand and power tools
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Welding certificate or equivalent experience
  
  

Working Conditions

• Industrial fabrication environment
• Exposure to weld fumes, noise, and heat
• Standing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, and reaching required
• Full‑time, 40 hrs/week with possible overtime
