ROLE OVERVIEW
PURPOSE OF JOB
SDTC is seeking an Intern to support day-to-day functions and projects
within our Administration Department. The applicant will gain experience in the complex and interesting world
of administering trust accounts for ultra-high net worth clients. Desired
intern will work directly with the Director of Trust Administration, Trust
Officers, Assistant Trust Officers, as well as Operations and Compliance team
members.
MAIN
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Assist in back-office tasks such as mail, filing, and data entry.
- Assist in reviewing statements, valuations, and tax and legal documents.
- Contribute to internal ad hoc projects targeted to bring about more efficiencies to existing processes.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent critical thinking skills and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and Microsoft Office skills.
- Energetic and enthusiastic team player that is willing to “roll up their sleeves” and assist in any way necessary.
- A quick learner that has a history of taking initiative, being self-motivated, a professional demeanor, and a desire to learn.
