We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumbing and Heating Technician to join our team. Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Service and maintain HVAC systems such as air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics, HVAC design plans, and mechanical drawings to ensure accurate installation and repairs.
- Perform equipment repair and maintenance tasks using tools like ohmmeters, welding equipment, and other specialized instruments.
- Conduct property maintenance tasks related to plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and appliance repair to ensure optimal operation.
- Diagnose issues with ammonia refrigeration systems and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.
- Assist with system upgrades or modifications following HVAC/R standards.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation of all work performed.
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician in plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, or property maintenance roles.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance.
- Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, and system troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience working with refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration is a plus.
- Skilled in the use of diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment.
- Previous field service experience preferred; ability to work independently in various environments.
- Knowledge of construction practices related to plumbing and HVAC installation is advantageous.
- Additional skills such as appliance repair, boiler operation, welding, or mechanic experience are beneficial. This position requires a dedicated professional capable of delivering high-quality service while maintaining safety standards across diverse property environments.
Pay: $30.00 - $55.00 per hour
