Position:            Full time, On-site with travel to job sites

Salary Range:    $100K to $120K

Position Description and Impact:

As Senior Project Manager at JT Steel, you will play a pivotal role in driving project outcomes, mentoring project managers, and elevating team performance. Your leadership will ensure seamless coordination between clients, engineering, and production, guaranteeing projects are completed accurately and on schedule. With direct influence over strategic decisions and process improvements, you’ll help foster a culture of excellence and collaboration throughout the company. Duties and Responsibilities:

·        Manage a diverse portfolio of projects from receipt through successful completion, ensuring timely and accurate delivery by coordinating all aspects of fieldwork and shipping/receiving activities.

·        Oversee and mentor a team of project managers, providing regular progress reviews, supporting problem-solving, and ensuring timely completion and approval of change orders.

·        Develop and track project metrics, update schedules and billing, and prioritize projects for production to ensure delivery is complete, correct, on time, and within budget.

·        Serve as the primary liaison for clients, contractors, and subcontractors; collaborate to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables; lead project meetings, maintain transparent stakeholder updates, and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.

·        Cross-functional leadership and project coordination with departments including GC, GC Site Superintendent, Field Work, Production Manager, Detailing and design

Accountabilities:

·        Ensure completion of detailing, fabrication, and erection within scheduled timeframes and quality standards on all JT Steel projects, including oversight of the Production Calendar.

·        Resolve customer issues promptly and safely

Required Skills and Qualifications:

·        10 years' experience in structural steel fabrication project management or equivalent technical training.

·        Experience managing teams and strong knowledge of drawings, steel processes, and terminology.

·        Well-developed leadership, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills focused on teamwork and collaboration.

·        Results-driven, customer-service focused, proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite; experience with Bluebeam or TEKLA PowerFab is a plus.
