What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavior Health Technician position at JT Mummert Consulting LLC?
J.T. Mummert Consulting LLC is hiring! We are looking for compassionate candidates who love working with children and families to fill positions as Behavior Health Technicians (BHTs). BHTs help children to promote positive behaviors, develop independence, and to fulfill a positive childhood experience in their homes, schools, and communities. Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
As a BHT, you will:
Help kids and families to follow a treatment plan.
Use safe and appropriate procedures when working with clients.
Help with behavior assessments and data collection.
Work together with team and families in homes, schools and/or in the community.
Write daily service notes and weekly update notes.
Qualifications:
BHTs must meet one of the following:
Have a high school diploma or equivalent AND complete the RBT Task List training after being hired.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent AND have completed the RBT Task List training prior to being hired.
Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in provision of behavioral health services, preferred.
Have a certification as a BCaBA, RBT, or BCAT, or other behavior health/analysis certification.
Hours/Area:
- 20.00 – 25.00 hours per week.
- Williamsport and Lock Haven
Wage:
Starting at $20/hour, with the higher wages available depending on degree and existing certifications!
Wage for Admin Time, Training Time and Supervision will be discussed during the interview process.- Travel stipend.
