Job Overview
We are on the lookout for an energetic and personable Server to join our vibrant team.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a friendly attitude.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
- Upsell menu items such as wines, cocktails, or desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Process cash and credit transactions accurately, handling cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with integrity.
- Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, including bussing tables and ensuring sanitation standards are met according to food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly.
- Use beverage service skills, including cocktail experience and spirits knowledge, to craft drinks that delight guests.
Qualifications
- Prior food service or restaurant experience is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS system
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to handle multiple tables efficiently while managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with wine knowledge, drink service, and upselling techniques is a plus.
- Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities.
- TIPS Certified
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 8.0 per week
