About The Role
As a Station Workforce Planner, you’ll own the process of building, maintaining, and optimizing station-level schedules that align staffing coverage with operational demands, headcount approvals, and cost targets. You’ll design the quarterly bid cycle for all airport stations, ensuring staffing accuracy, compliance, and operational reliability across the JSX network. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on structure, analytics, and collaboration—balancing data-driven planning with on-the-ground operational insight.
This is an on-site position based at JSX Headquarters in Dallas, TX
JSX is unable to provide current or future employment-based visa sponsorship (e.g., H-1B, TN, or similar). This position requires that applicants be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Compensation is $75,000 to $85,000 annually. This was established after performing market research and is aligned with our approach to compensation.

A Day In The Life

Additional Responsibilities Include
- Design and maintain quarterly station-level staffing plans aligned with flight schedules and labor budgets.
- Develop and update coverage templates, shift grids, and bid packets for airport stations.
- Coordinate the schedule bid process—ensuring timely delivery of materials to station leaders.
- Monitor coverage and headcount levels, identifying lean periods or overtime risks.
- Collaborate with Station Managers and leadership to validate staffing assumptions and operational readiness.
- Audit schedule productivity and recommend adjustments to improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, break rules, and scheduling regulations.
- Partner with Finance, HR, and Airport Services leadership to align on headcount planning, requisitions, and FT/PT strategy.
- Make a Measurable Impact: Your work directly influences on-time performance, labor efficiency, and Customer experience.
- Own the Process: Lead the entire workforce planning lifecycle—from analysis to implementation.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with operations, finance, and HR to ensure alignment and readiness.
- Shape the Future: Build scalable systems and processes that will define how JSX staffs for success.

- 2 years of experience in workforce planning, scheduling, aviation, logistics, or a related operational environment
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience supporting or collaborating with frontline operations teams
- Understanding of staffing workflows and coverage models in complex environments
- Experience managing schedule bids or staffing cycles
- Experience using workforce models or labor planning tools
- Background in aviation, hospitality, or 24/7 operational environments
- Proficiency in workforce planning, staffing analysis, and schedule compliance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to balance operational priorities with cost and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Compensation is $75,000 to $85,000 annually. This was established after performing market research and is aligned with our approach to compensation.
