Overview
JST is currently seeking a Contract Closeout Junior Analyst to join our team. The Junior Analyst will analyze contract closeout metrics to identify areas to improve reporting, manually close contracts that are ready for closeout, and assist with preparing contracts for closeout.

Contract Closeout Junior Analyst Responsibilities
- Analyze contract closeout metrics and canceling funds reports to identify areas to improve reporting and performance across the Command.
- Must assist the government contracts staff with canceling funds, contract closeout, and records retention.
- Manually close old contracts that are ready for closeout and assist with preparing contracts for closeout.
- Train government staff on closeout processes and requirements.
- Create and update standard and ad‐hoc reports to meet SSP, DCMA, DFAS, SECNAV, ASN(RDA), DASN(P), Congressional, and OSD data calls and reporting needs.
- Reduce the customer's list of ULO's (Unliquidated Obligations) and expediting the closeout process.
Contract Closeout Junior Analyst Skills
- Knowledge of the FAR and DFARS (NMCARS a plus), contract closeout processes, Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE), the Electronic Data Access (EDA) module, and data analytics.
- Technical skills such as Tableau, DoD Advana, MS Office, Standard Procurement System (SPS), Adobe Professional, etc.
- Critical thinking, oral and written communication, customer service, problem solving, business acumen, understanding industry, creativity and innovation, teambuilding, and accountability.
Contract Closeout Junior Analyst Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of job-related experience
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a DoD contract specialist (1102 job series) within the previous 10 years
- DAWIA I preferred
Required Clearances and Screenings
- Active Secret clearance is required
- MUST be able to successfully pass a drug screen and background check
