Tool and Die Maker – Certified Journeyman
📍 Location: Harrisburg, PA| 💼 Full-Time

We’re hiring a Certified Journeyman Tool and Die Maker to join our team! In this hands-on role, you’ll work in our tool room and production area, building and developing precision dies and molds, operating press machines, and supporting product prototyping.

What You’ll Need:

🔧 High school diploma or equivalent
🔧 5–7 years of related experience
🔧 Certified Journeyman Tool and Die Maker
🔧 Proficiency with all tool room machines
🔧 Ability to read product/tool drawings, CAD and NC programming a plus
🔧 Experience in die/mold development, heat treating, and machine build

Physical Requirements:

Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs

SUMMARY:

Responsible for the building, development and qualification of production die and mold tooling.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Build, develop and qualify production die and mold tooling.
2. Make replacement die and mold tooling.
3. Maintain shop equipment.

NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITES:

1. Complete other tasks and duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. 5-7 years experience in related work.
3. Technical school, CAD capability, NC programming capability a plus.
4. Ability to read product drawings and tool drawings.
5. Ability to set up and operate press machines.
6. Die/Mold building and development, heat treating, machine build, product prototyping.
7. Must have proficiency in use of all tool room machines.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Occasionally may have to lift objects up to 50 pounds.

Certified Journeyman Tool and Die Maker.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Tool room/production area.

Salary : $32 - $42
