What are the responsibilities and job description for the AUTOMATION ENGINEER position at JST Corporation?
Assist with the design, development, and building of automated assembly machines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Able to create designs in SolidWorks (part and assembly files)
2. Able to detail in SolidWorks (drawing files)
3. Assists concept designs
4. Ensures integration of assigned tasks with all tooling assemblies of a project.
5. Ensures integration of assigned tasks with electrical engineers as required.
6. Follow HPEC Automation design standards
7. Follow OSHA and regulatory requirements
8. Helps create machine manuals and spare parts lists
9. Mentored by level II and Senior engineers. As well as Machine Builder II and Automation
Foreman
10. Organizes drawings according to department and project requirements
11. Prepares and delivers internal engineering presentations as required
12. Provide BOMs as required.
13. Provide concepts and illustrations for new projects.
14. Supports machine build and conditioning phases of a project.
15. Travels as required to support projects.
16. Works on Solidworks designs and details as assigned
17. Any other duties as required.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
BS with 0-4 years of experience or 0-6 years related experience
Familiar with Solidworks or other CAD software
Salary : $70,000 - $110,000
