A global investment firm providing asset-based credit solutions to high-growth companies is hiring a Vice President to join its Investment Team. This is a core, deal-facing role spanning sourcing, execution, credit analysis, and portfolio monitoring.
What you'll do
- Source deals by identifying and connecting with emerging companies
- Draft investment memos that surface the key risks and commercial drivers
- Lead commercial due diligence and manage the legal and documentation process
- Underwrite opportunities using collateral-specific credit analysis: collections and charge-off curves, loss coverage, and return modeling
- Evaluate and manipulate loan tapes to inform credit decisions
- Apply financial statement analysis and fixed-income transaction expertise across large, diverse datasets
- Monitor portfolio companies and produce performance reviews
What you'll bring
- 6 years across structured/asset-based finance, private credit, or debt capital markets/leveraged finance
- Strong credit underwriting and accounting knowledge
- A network in the fintech and specialty finance ecosystems
- Advanced Excel (Alteryx a plus)
- Sharp attention to detail, strong communication, and a solutions-oriented, low-ego approach
Salary : $150,000 - $175,000
