Informatica CAI Developer
Contract Opportunity with a Major Financial Services Firm
Location: Newark, NJ (Hybrid – 3 Days/Week Onsite)
Duration: 12 Month Contract

We are seeking an experienced Informatica CAI Developer to join a large financial services organization. This role will focus on designing, developing, and implementing enterprise integration solutions using Informatica Cloud Application Integration (CAI). The ideal candidate will have strong experience building real-time and batch integrations across cloud and on-premises environments while ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performing data exchange solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement real-time and batch integration solutions using Informatica Cloud Application Integration (CAI)
- Create and configure APIs, services, and process flows to support data integration and business process automation
- Develop and maintain integration mappings, transformations, orchestration workflows, and reusable integration components
- Integrate cloud-based and on-premises applications, databases, and enterprise platforms
- Ensure data integrity, security, consistency, and reliability across all integration processes
- Develop and implement error handling, monitoring, and exception management frameworks
- Partner with business analysts, application owners, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver integration solutions
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members and business stakeholders
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integration performance to ensure high availability and reliability
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve integration, performance, and data quality issues
- Create and maintain technical documentation, process flows, and operational procedures
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to end users and support teams
- Stay current with Informatica technologies, integration best practices, and emerging industry trends
- Identify opportunities to improve existing integration processes and implement enhancements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3 years of experience in integration development and enterprise application integration
- Hands-on experience with Informatica Cloud Application Integration (CAI)
- Strong understanding of APIs, web services, middleware technologies, REST, and SOAP integrations
- Experience integrating enterprise applications such as SailPoint and other third-party platforms
- Experience automating secure access to cloud and enterprise services including:
- AWS (Redshift, Athena, S3)
- Microsoft O365
- Microsoft Azure
- Snowflake
- Power BI
- Experience with ETL processes, data integration, and real-time data streaming technologies
- Strong SQL and database development skills
- Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, Snowflake, or Google Cloud Platform
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Informatica Cloud Application Integration Certification
- Experience with Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Cloud Data Integration, or other Informatica products
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data privacy principles
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Financial services industry experience is a plus
