Holy Rosary Credit Union (HRCU) has an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated, member-focused individual to join its lending division as a Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO)!
In this role, the MLO will be responsible for providing real estate lending services by guiding members through the Credit Union’s lending application process and ensuring they secure the best financing options to meet their financial needs.
This individual will actively cross-sell HRCU’s products and services while providing an engaging process to evaluate members' mortgage needs and recommend the best option offered by the Credit Union.
The primary duties for the MLO will include face-to-face on-site meetings with Credit Union members, following up on the application process, managing the mortgage lending pipeline, and working with the mortgage operations team to ensure loans are managed in line with expectations.
The MLO will ensure loan agreements are completed and accurate in accordance with policy, prepare and/or review all mortgage documents, and complete the workflow for the residential mortgage application process.
A two-year college degree, completion of a specialized certification or licensing, and three to five years of similar related experience are required; NMLS is highly desired. Effective organizational and communication skills, along with strong knowledge of mortgage products, lending regulations, and financial analysis, are essential elements of the position. Experience with multiple software programs related to the lending application process is required for this role.
