Role Summary:As an Assistant Job Foreman, you will play a crucial role in our operations by leading the installation of a variety of products for residential and commercial builders. Your management in multi-product installation will be essential in ensuring the successful installation of products such as mirrors, closet shelving, bathroom accessories, shower doors, door hardware, and more. Your role will also play a pivotal part in ensuring we meet schedule goals in the most efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
- Review blueprints, details, and contracted scope of work with project manager during “kick off” meeting.
- Field Measuring – while onsite identify and address any issues to mitigate potential issues that may impact our install.
- Estimate manpower needed, make any adjustments after initial install.
- Delegation and supervision of work to field employees.
- Completion of punch list including daily paperwork to document clean up after each days install. Track and ensure completion of general contractors’ punch list.
- Track completed and upcoming areas/items, monitor job progress, ensure contracted scope is completed, and communicate event scheduling for our scope of work.
- Training of field employees.
- Assist in the overall completion of field work as needed.
- Communicate with onsite superintendent, troubleshoot, and resolve issues as it pertains to our area of responsibility.
- Communicate with our project manager to resolve additional work requests.
- Lead with a safety mindset and maintain safety as a top priority.
- Participate in weekly toolbox talk meetings.
- Provide support as a team leader to maintain a positive work environment for the employees at the jobsite with you.
- Additional duties as required.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a similar construction environment.
- 2 years in the residential/commercial construction industry
- Understanding of construction scheduling and cost control.
- Microsoft Suite proficient
- Ability to motivate employees by being a leading example.
- Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
- OSHA 30 Training preferred.

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
