Industrial Maintenance Technician
Location: Bensenville, IL
Pay: $28–$38/hr depending on experience and training

What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on high-speed food processing and packaging equipment (mixers, conveyors, blenders, metal detectors, laser daters, palletizers, etc.)
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a wide variety of issues including electrical controls, PLCs, mechanical failures, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Execute both scheduled and emergency repairs to minimize downtime and keep production on track
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan and prevent breakdowns
- Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, parts usage, and maintenance logs
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to ensure correct repair procedures
- Calibrate, align, and test sensors, VFDs, motors, and servo systems
- Maintain plant utilities and infrastructure including HVAC, boilers, compressed air systems, and plumbing
- Collaborate with the operations team to prioritize repairs and ensure minimal disruption to production
- Assist with equipment installation, upgrades, and facility projects
- Follow all safety protocols and help foster a zero-incident workplace culture
What You Bring
- 4 years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance role
- Strong skills in mechanical troubleshooting, mechanical repair, and preventative maintenance; electrical troubleshooting preferred
- Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, gearboxes, and conveying systems
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- A self-starter who takes pride in solving problems and keeping the plant running smoothly
