JSJ Property Management is looking for an outgoing, motivated, and dependable Leasing Agent to join our team. We’re seeking someone with a strong work ethic who enjoys working with people, takes initiative, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
As a Leasing Agent, you’ll help prospective residents find the right home while supporting current residents and managing leasing activity across an assigned portfolio. The ideal candidate will bring a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a team-oriented approach to their work.

Our diverse portfolio ranges from apartments and houses near the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign campus to apartments near Eastern Illinois University, as well as off-campus apartments and single-family homes throughout the surrounding communities. This variety gives our Leasing Agents the opportunity to work with different properties, residents, and leasing markets while gaining well-rounded experience in the property management industry.

What We’re Looking For
- Previous leasing, property management, sales, or related customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Sales-oriented mindset with confidence following up with prospective residents
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to problem-solve and handle difficult conversations professionally
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team
- Comfortable learning and using property management software and other technology
- Valid driver’s license
