Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced insured 1099 subcontractor to work solo and alongside our team. This role involves assisting with pulling cables, installing, testing, and servicing fire alarms, security systems and low voltage systems. All subcontractors must have their own tools, truck, and ladders. Subcontractors will be given service work orders that must be thoroughly completed upon completion of the job and uploaded to our company email, along with all inspection and installation documents. We expect our subcontractors to maintain efficient communication with JSI Security LLC at all times to establish a good relationship.
Responsibilities:
- Assist other technicians with system installations (fire alarms, security, access control, CCTV)
- Read building blueprints
- Perform installations
- Pull, label, and terminate cables
- Test and troubleshoot systems
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Follow all safety protocols and company standards
Requirements:
- Must maintain a professional attitude and appearance
- Licenses in Pennsylvania and New Jersey are preferred
- Reliable, hardworking, and punctual
- Ability to work independently
- Comfortable working on ladders and in various environments (residential and commercial)
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- 3 or more years of experience is preferred
