Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Fire alarm technician/inspector to work solo and alongside our team. This role involves testing and servicing fire alarms, security systems and low voltage systems. Technician's must have their own tools, truck, and ladders. JSI will provide you with company shirts/hats along with a smoke tester pole to avoid using ladders if needed. Our company will provide miles and or gas reimbursement upon the requirement that techs will be using their own vehicles. Techs will be given service work orders that must be thoroughly completed upon completion of the job and uploaded to our company email, along with all other inspection documents. We expect our techs to maintain efficient communication with JSI Security LLC at all times to establish a good relationship.
Responsibilities:
- Service, test, and inspect commercial fire alarm systems
- Read building blueprints
- Test and troubleshoot systems
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Follow all safety protocols and company standards
Requirements:
- Must maintain a professional attitude and appearance
- Technicians are required to use their own vehicles for the first year of employment and need a valid driver's license
- Willing to travel to each job in NJ/PA and Philadelphia
- Reliable, hardworking, and punctual
- Ability to work independently
- Comfortable working on ladders and in various environments (residential and commercial)
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- 2 or more years of experience is preferred
- No drug or alcohol use during work hoursBenefits (Will begin after 3-month probation period ends):
