Key Accountabilities
- Performs assigned task with minimum guidance from supervision
- Organize and analyze issue specific information and make appropriate recommendations
- Coordinates assigned projects, studies and initiatives through completion
- Comply with safety policy and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Prepare and present routine reports
- Participate in special project and committee assignments as requested
- Lead routine problem - solving efforts
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial, Nuclear) from an accredited program.
- SAP experience required
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant Preventative Maintenance job experience
- Teamwork and collaboration skills across organizational boundaries.
- Able to communicate routine issues effectively through written and verbal communication.
- Maintain effective working relationships across organizational boundaries
- Understanding of power generation equipment and system interrelationships.
- Understanding of economic drivers to the business.
- Able to apply problem solving processes to address routine issues.
- Work on weekends and holidays
- Work in both an office and field environment
- Potentially inclement weather conditions
- Occasionally long, irregular hours including work in excess of 12-hour days for extended periods
- Occasionally travel between company facilities, and occasional overnight travel
