Required Skills
- Mechanical engineering background (4-year degree preferred, or 2-year degree with relevant experience)
- Experience with PLCs and automation systems is highly advantageous
- Proficiency in working with piping, motor-controlled valves, pumps, and programmable controllers
- Strong organizational, documentation, and writing skills
- Competence in MS Office applications
- Valid passport for international travel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional attitude with excellent communication skills
- Experience with programming adjustments to PLCs and HMIs
- Familiarity with field digital and analog instruments such as pH probes and flow meters
- Skills in welding plastics and repairing fiberglass
- Experience in developing standard operating procedures and training materials
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Technical school certification demonstrating hands-on skills with piping, pumps, and automation systems
- Prior experience in startup, performance testing, or servicing odor control or similar systems
- Willingness to travel approximately 70% across North America, primarily within the USA, with potential international trips
- Ability to carry out system startup, troubleshooting, performance testing, and calibration duties
- Eagerness to continuously upgrade skills in PLC programming and system controls
