Johnson Service Group (JSG) is seeking a highly analytical Fraud Data Analyst, Associate in the Greater Los Angeles, CA Area to support a large-scale dealership audit and fraud investigation initiative. This individual will be responsible for mining, analyzing, and validating large volumes of automotive finance and loan origination data to identify patterns, trends, anomalies, and potential indicators of dealer misrepresentation or fraud.
The ideal candidate will have strong SQL and SAS expertise and experience working with large relational databases, preferably Oracle and/or Amazon Redshift environments. This role will partner closely with Dealership Investigators, Audit Teams, Credit Risk, and Business Stakeholders to develop actionable insights and support ongoing investigations.
Remote- Must live in California- 75 miles from Central Orange County.
Work Schedule- Monday - Friday- 8:00am- 5:00pm
Pay Rate: - $50-$60 per hour

Key Responsibilities
- Extract and analyze datasets related to auto loans, dealer performance, customer applications, and funding transactions.
- Develop complex SQL queries and SAS programs to identify suspicious trends, anomalies, and fraud indicators.
- Create datasets and reporting packages used by Dealership Investigators and Audit teams.
- Analyze loan origination, funding, credit, and dealer performance data for evidence of misrepresentation, policy violations, or fraud.
- Develop dashboards, scorecards, and management reporting to track investigation outcomes and fraud trends.
- Perform root cause analysis and identify emerging fraud patterns.
- Partner with business leaders to translate data into actionable recommendations.
- Validate data integrity and ensure reporting accuracy.
- Present findings and recommendations through PowerPoint presentations and executive summaries.
- Support ad hoc reporting requests and investigative initiatives.
- Experience in data analytics, fraud analytics, risk analytics, or business intelligence.
- SQL skills with experience writing complex joins, subqueries, CTEs, aggregations, and performance optimization.
- Strong SAS programming experience.
- Experience working with:
