Position Summary
This contractposition will work closely with Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Services, IT/Architecture, and external vendors to support the definition and enablement of the digital platform ecosystem required for Small Modular Reactor (SMR) operations.
This role bridges evolving O&M business models with enterprise IT systems, ensuring alignment with Configuration Management (CM), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Initiatives and long-term digital thread objectives.
Responsibilities
- Translate O&M service models into IT platform and tool requirements.
- Define integration needs across OT (plant data), EAM (maintenance), ERP, and PLM systems.
- Recommend optimal platforms and integration approaches aligned with enterprise architecture.
- Define data flow concepts (e.g., Tag ? Asset ? Configuration Item) and lifecycle traceability.
- Evaluate tools such as AVEVA, Maximo, Oracle, and related platforms.
- Support vendor discussions and develop recommendation packages for leadership.
- Define data, integration, and event-driven workflow requirements (e.g., alerts to work orders).
- Coordinate across Enterprise CM/PLM/ERP leadership, O&M Services, IT, and vendors.
- Support implementation planning and pilot-to-scale transition readiness
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or similar field. (Advanced degree preferred.)
- 8 years of experience in industrial IT systems, engineering systems, or O&M environments.
- In lieu of a degree, 12 years relevant work experience may be considered.
- Experience with enterprise systems integration (PLM, ERP, EAM, or OT platforms) is required.
- Must be eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810.
- Working knowledge of Aras, Oracle Fusion, Maximo, AVEVA, or similar platforms.
- Prior experience working in nuclear, energy, or other regulated industries.
- Familiarity with digital thread, digital twin, or lifecycle traceability concepts.
