What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Router Set Up Operator position at JSG (Johnson Service Group, Inc.)?
- Perform work as assigned utilizing routine and/or non-routine work cards and/or service bulletins within estimated or budgeted hours and within FAA and ZIM standards of quality with minimal assistance from supervisor.
- Perform typical CNC and Manual fabrication shop operations; operate CNC/Manual routing and drilling machines (horizontal and vertical).
- Fabricate and assemble aircraft interior parts and components as directed.
- Perform layout and prepare shop drawings as required.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment as directed in the manuals.
- Understand and maintain ZIM and customer aircraft maintenance documentation programs.
- Promote a culture of safety by monitoring self and others to assure all duties are performed within the guidelines as specified by the ZIM Team Member Safety Manual.
- Use and operate safely all appropriate hand tools and other machinery associated with the Interior Fabrication shop.
- Read and use blueprints, and drawings and engineering orders.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must have own tools as required by company tool list.
- Minimum of 2 years as a CNC operator
- Minimum of 2 years in interior fabrication
- Flexible to work any shift and prolonged hours to meet schedule demands.
- Read, write and understand the English language.
Essential Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to wear and breathe through a full face respirator
- Will be exposed to hazardous chemicals, solvents, resins, and adhesives and requires the use of all safety equipment
- Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for prolonged periods of time, climb steps, ladders and stands
- Subject to continual loud noises
