Required Skills
- Ph.D. in Genetics, Genomics, Statistical Genetics, Computational Biology, or a related field
- Over 5 years of proven experience in genetic data analysis, including variant analysis, GWAS, QTL mapping, and population genetics
- Strong understanding of statistical methods for genetic data integration
- Extensive experience applying machine learning models to high-dimensional biological data, including feature engineering and model validation
- Hands-on expertise in integrating multi-omics data such as transcriptomics, proteomics, and epigenomics
- Proficiency in R, Python, and Bash with practices that ensure reproducibility
- Familiarity with high-performance computing (HPC) systems and AWS cloud services (IAM, S3)
- Experience with large-scale biobank data (e.g., UK Biobank, FinnGen)
- Knowledge of deep learning techniques for genomics
- Familiarity with single-cell and spatial transcriptomics
- Experience supporting drug target validation or biomarker discovery in biotech or pharma settings
- Skills with workflow management tools (Nextflow, Snakemake) and containerization (Docker, Singularity)
- This is an onsite role based in Cambridge, MA; candidates need to be able to work onsite and are not suitable for remote applicants
- Candidates with only BS or MS degrees are not preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment with excellent communication skills
