We are currently seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our Orlando team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technician with experience in Fire Alarm, Access Control, CCTV, and other low voltage systems who is looking to build a long-term career in a growing company. As a Service Technician, you will play a key role in the installation, service, and support of life safety systems.

Responsibilities:
As a Service Technician, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
· Install, service, test, maintain, and integrate low voltage electronic and life safety systems
· Maintain consistent communication with the Service Manager, Branch Manager, and Service Coordinator
· Deliver outstanding customer service before, during, and after each project
· Ensure all work meets JSC quality standards and complies with relevant codes and safety regulations
· Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely and efficient project completion
Qualifications:
To thrive in this role, you should bring:
· Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience programming EST and Silent Knight systems
· Strong working knowledge of Access Control and CCTV systems (programming experience preferred)
· Experience with Nurse Call and other low voltage systems a plus
· NICET and/or BICSI certification(s) preferred
· Familiarity with relevant industry codes, safety standards, and installation best practices
· Ability to read and interpret floor plans, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
· Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving abilities
· Collaborative mindset and ability to work well in a team environment
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
· Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (a company vehicle will be provided)

· Ability to frequently move about, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and reaching in a variety of work environments
· Ability to lift and transport tools, materials, and equipment up to 50 pounds, as needed
· Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to handle tools, wiring, and electronic devices
· Ability to work in enclosed spaces or elevated areas such as crawlspaces, ladders, scaffolding, or mechanical lifts
· Visual acuity necessary to read blueprints, system diagrams, and technical documentation
· Effective communication in person, over the phone, and in written reports or documentation
· Ability to operate a motor vehicle and travel to client job sites, including active construction zones and commercial facilities
· Exposure to varying weather conditions, dust, and moderate noise levels may occur depending on job location
