Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bakery Mixer to join our production team. This role is responsible for accurately measuring and mixing ingredients to produce high-quality baked goods in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes and production schedules
- Operate industrial mixing equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensure consistency and quality of doughs and batters
- Monitor mixing times, temperatures, and ingredient quality
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with scaling, staging ingredients, and other production tasks as needed
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a bakery or food production environment preferred
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions precisely
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Basic math skills for measuring and scaling ingredients
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with industrial mixers or food manufacturing equipment
- Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
