JSA Partners, a tight-knit, fast-paced strategic communications agency, is looking for a PR Manager to join our team. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a mid-level professional to take ownership of day-to-day client deliverables, execute high-impact PR strategies, and support some of the fastest-growing industries globally, including consumer tech, digital media, and gaming.
The PR Manager will focus on the strategy and execution of work and serve as a trusted day-to-day contact for our clients. You will also act as a brand ambassador for JSA, contributing to the firm's overall visibility and organic growth through networking and industry engagement. It’s a great opportunity to join a small team and make a big impact.
Location: Ideally Los Angeles (coming into our HQ office 3-4 days a week), or remote in San Francisco or New York.

Principal Responsibilities:
- Client Management: Manage day-to-day operations and deliverables for key accounts, ensuring excellent client service and relationship maintenance.
- Strategic Execution: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop strategic plans, narratives, positioning, and messaging on behalf of clients while taking ownership of execution.
- Media Relations: Maintain and develop strong media relationships and secure impactful coverage in outlets spanning tech, business, and entertainment.
- Thought Leadership: Execute thought leadership programs by identifying speaking opportunities, coordinating award submissions, and drafting compelling bylines for client executives.
- Writing: Draft well-written narratives, press releases, pitches, and messaging on behalf of clients.
- Agency Ambassadorship: Act as a brand ambassador for JSA Partners by networking and contributing to the firm’s visibility.
- New Business Support: Contribute to the agency's growth by identifying potential opportunities.
- AI Innovation: Thoughtfully leverage AI to create efficient workflows for yourself and the entire team.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience: 5 years of public relations experience, ideally at least partly in an agency setting.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field.
- Industry Knowledge: A genuine interest and /or solid understanding of the consumer technology, digital media, gaming and sports landscapes.
- Communication: Exceptional writing, editing, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Media Savvy: Proven track record of building media relationships and securing earned media results.
