Job Title- Senior Verification EngineerProject Location – On-site 5 days Lake Ronkonkoma NY (Long Island NY)Duration- FulltimeVisa- USC/ GClocal candidates only, but might consider someone who is originally from Long Island. Job Description-: MUST have a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical or Computer Engineering (pedigree is very important to defense contractors).  From Google:  An FPGA, or Field-Programmable Gate Array, is an integrated circuit that can be configured and reconfigured after manufacturing to perform a specific hardware task. Unlike a fixed-function chip, FPGAs use a user-programmable interconnect to connect configurable logic blocks, allowing them to be customized for a wide range of applications like data processing, AI, and industrial control. Their hardware-level programmability enables real-time performance, custom logic, and the ability to update and fix bugs in the field.Develop and execute FPGA verification and validation plans, test strategies, and methodologies.Create simulation environments, testbenches, and run regression testing.Verify designs written in VHDL and support verification using Verilog/SystemVerilog.Debug FPGA issues and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.Work with Xilinx Vivado tools and ModelSim/Questa for simulation.Validate high-speed interfaces and protocols including PCIe, 1G/10G Ethernet, and TSN.Support DO-254/178C certification activities and documentation.Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement of verification processes.Primary Skills: fpga, vhdl, verification and validation (v&v), verilog, xilinx, protocols, pcie, ethernet, tsn, test strategy, certification testingQualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical or Computer Engineering.8–15 years of FPGA verification experience.Strong expertise in VHDL, with working knowledge of Verilog/SystemVerilog and UVM.Proficiency with Xilinx Vivado; experience with Intel Quartus or Lattice Diamond is a plus.Experience with ModelSim/Questa and Xilinx ILA.Solid understanding of FPGA architecture and digital design.Hands-on experience with PCIe, 1G/10G Ethernet, TSN.Experience supporting DO-254/178C certification processes.Strong debugging, analytical, and communication skills.Why is This a Great Opportunitywell-established company, varied product line, many customers, good technology, great work environment, solid benefit package
