Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinetry Painter to join our custom cabinetry team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality lacquer 2k finishes to custom cabinetry, ensuring a flawless appearance that enhances the overall aesthetic of residential spaces. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on custom built cabinety for kitchens, built-ins libraries and more.
Responsibilities
- Prepare cabinetry surfaces through sanding, to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Apply primer, stain, and clear coats using spray equipment.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for surface preparation and minor repairs.
- Maintain safety regulations by wearing respiratory protection, adhering to safety protocols, and properly handling hazardous materials.
- Clean and maintenance of spray equipment.
- Helping with cabinetry assembly and installation.
Experience
- Proven experience with handling spray equipment
- Familiarity with various coating types including industrial paints, stains, primers, and sealers.
- Hands-on experience using hand tools such as putty knives, sanders, as well as power tools like drills and sanders.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to construction painting including respiratory protection protocols.
