Shop Labor / Parts Runner
JRP Construction, LLC – Yuma, AZ & Surrounding Areas
JRP Construction, LLC is seeking a Shop Labor / Parts Runner to support our shop, yard, and field operations. This position is critical to maintaining organization, efficiency, and readiness of materials and equipment.
Job Duties
- Safely unload, store, and properly label incoming materials
- Maintain shop and yard organization and cleanliness
- Empty trash cans and dispose of debris
- Clean debris, weeds, and other items to maintain property presentation
- Water yard as needed
- Ensure consumables are stocked and available for crews
- Ensure equipment, fuel tanks, propane tanks, and gases are fueled and ready
- Deliver materials and/or equipment to job sites as needed
- Operate light and heavy equipment as required
Additional Responsibilities
- Maintain up-to-date equipment and vehicle repair logs
- Material and equipment pickup and delivery
- Establish and maintain organized layouts for shop materials and tools
- Work with crews to adhere to layout systems
- Perform general construction labor as needed
- Follow directions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain attention to detail and safety awareness
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
- Read and follow labels, safety warnings, and guidelines
- Monitor inventory levels and reduce material waste
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Reliable, organized, and safety-focused
- Construction or shop experience preferred
- Must be able to obtain access to government and military facilities as required
