What are the responsibilities and job description for the A Shift CNC Lathe Operator position at Jrlon, Inc. - Engineered Products Division?
Job Function:
Entry Level to semi skilled CNC lathe machinist responsible for producing close tolerance parts. Must be able to inspect and record in process and first article data.
Job Duties:
Qualified candidate must have positive attitude and be able to work as a team player. Individual will be responsible for the operation, tool changes, and simple set-ups on CNC lathes. Must have the ability to manufacture and inspect parts to within .0001” tolerances. Individual will be required to run multiple machines at the same time.
Overall skills needed to be successful:
- CNC machining knowledge 1 yrs. experience.
- Hands on experience with all required inspection equipment.
- Ability to read blue prints.
- Knowledge of tooling required.
- Ability to work as a team player with multiple departments; Quality, Maintenance, etc.
Qualifications:
- 1 yrs. experience with CNC Lathe machines.
- Ability to operate, make tool changes and perform simple set-ups on CNC Lathes.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to learn and retain training on new parts, tooling, and equipment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $26.00 per hour
